FIELD OF THE INVENTION The invention relates to a transport engineering, in particular to a locking mechanism for a car door.
The closest technical solution to the invention is a locking mechanism for a car door, comprising a mounting element, a pivoting element mounted thereon associated with a latch, a ratchet rotatably attached to the pivoting element, and a pawl lever pivotally connected with the mounting element for locking the ratchet when releasing the latch when the door is closed, and the locking mechanism is attached to the door by means of mounting bolts, and the latch is attached to the door frame to interact with the door pivoted element.
However, upon application of trial loads to the locking mechanism, the mounting member may be slightly bent, as a result of which the lever with the pawl disengages from the ratchet and the door opens. Theoretically, this bend can be prevented by positioning the fastening bolts around the axis of rotation of the lever with the pawl or by positioning the axis of the lever with the paw so that the force exerted by the ratchet on the lever is maintained with at least one bolt. The plate is fixed by a lid of the pivoting element fixed on the outer surface of the said flat plate and carrying a stop for a latch or a pivoting element to prevent the door from moving relative to the latch, while the stop is made of plastic and in one piece with the leaf spring.
The groove for the lowering glass of the door is located in the area of the protrusion formed by the groove on the said flat plate.

The locking mechanism (Figs. 1-6) has an installation element 1 of an L-shaped cross section and includes a flat plate 2, which is screwed to the inner side of the side surface 3 (see Fig. 4) of the car door. A swivel element 4 in the form of a fork, made of plastic (polyamide) or made of metal with a rubber coating, is fixedly rotatable by means of a flat plate 2 and a cover 5, which is attached to the outside of said plate. The ratchet 7 is also secured to the pin 6, to which the pivot element 4 ,, j is attached. The flat plate 2 pivotally holds the lever 8 with the pawl engaging with the ratchet 7 to prevent it from turning and releasing the latch 9 i (see Fig. 7) from the rotary element 4 and the locking mechanism.
The lever B with the pawl is acted upon by a conventional connecting mechanism (not shown) for unlocking the locking mechanism by means of an external button or other element, and for actuating the lever 8 with the pawl by means of the usual internal working member, a spring-loaded arm rotates on the supporting element 1. To prevent lever 8 from moving with the pawl and to connect with a conventional internal locking element, such as a push button, instant locking lever 12 can be seen.
The locking mechanism is attached to the inner side of the side surface 3 of the door with three fastening bolts 14 (Fig. 4) installed in the threaded holes 15 (see Fig. 3) in the locking mechanism. The bolts 14 are not concealed, as it has been found that this design avoids the formation of microcracks in the paint around the holes 15 and thereby increases the rust resistance. The cover 5 and the pivoting element 4 are passed through the hole in the side door 3, and this hole does not reach to the edge of the side surface, which prevents excessive exfoliation of the side surface of the door.
The lever 8 with the pawl is mounted on the axis 16, the position of which allows the locking mechanism to be attached to the car door with fastening means in the form of a bolt 14 coaxially with the axis of rotation of the lever 8, thus securing the latter directly to the door (Fig. 5).
The axis 16 is made in the form of a sleeve having a threaded hole through which the fastening bolt 14 can pass. One end of the sleeve is attached to the flat plate 2 by riveting its edge, and the other end is provided with a head that comes in contact with the inside of the lever 8 with the canine and keeps it in the absence of a locking mechanism and installed inside the door as a whole. After installing the locking mechanism inside the door, the fixing bolt 14 is screwed into the axial element 16. With this design of the locking mechanism, it is impossible to install the fixing bolts into the flat plate 2 to the right of the axis 16 and, thus, in the absence of the fixing bolt 14 entering the axle, large the force exerted on the pivoting element for opening leads the lever B with the pawl to the left (Fig. 3) and causes the flat plate 2 to bend beyond the plane of the drawing. This is avoided by inserting the fastening bolt 14 into the axis 16. The shape and location of the latter ensure that the lever 8 is not pressed while tightening the fastening bolt 14
The pivot cap 5 contains a flat fastening part 17 and a pressed-out part 18, which runs parallel to the fastening part 17 at a certain distance from it and is connected to this fastening part by a cup 19 on all sides except for one, which includes a latch 9. Fastening part 17 is temporarily fastened to the flat plate 2 by rivets through the holes 20 (see FIGS. 3 and 4), and when installing the locking mechanism inside the door, the fasteners on the part 17 are permanently attached to the outside of the flat plate 2 by all three fastening bolts 14 The fastening part 17 has an opening in the axis 16 of the rotation of the lever with the pawl, which ensures the attachment of the lever 8 to the cover 5 of the rotating element. All three fastening bolts 14 attach the fastening part 17 and, thus, the pivot ring cap 5 directly to the door.

An abutment is provided inside the cover 5 of the swivel member. The bulge 36 formed in the plate 2 by the channel 31 serves as a spacer element to prevent the closure mechanism from becoming contaminated through the guide channel 37 of the lowered side glass 38. The door structure may be such that the guide channel 37 is located at a distance of 2 to 3 mm from the bulge 36, however, the limits of the possible deflection or movement when used do not exclude the possibility of the contact of the guide channel 37 with the bulge 36.
The options described can be widely modified. For example, axis 16 may have an enhanced head by extending this element (Fig. 5, dashed lines). In another case, due to the fact that the central part 33 of the channel 31 does not touch the grip 30, this section can be stamped to provide a gap.
This design of the locking mechanism provides an increase in its service life.

1. A locking mechanism for a car door containing an installation element, a rotatable element mounted thereon associated with a latch, a ratchet mounted on the rotatable element rotatably, and a pawl lever rotatable associated with the installation element for locking the ratchet when released: the latch with the door closed, the locking mechanism being secured to the door by means of fixing bolts, and the latch attached to the door frame to interact with said pivot element, characterized in that increasing the service life of the locking mechanism, the mounting element is designed as a flat plate fixed to the door by means of bolts, axially one of the mounting bolts has an axis on which the pawl arm mounted to the ratchet is mounted and the swivel element is connected to the tension spring connected with the lever of the pawl, the rotatable element being provided with a lid having a flat locking part attached to the outer surface of the said plate and a projecting part located parallel to the locking hour ti and connected to the latter by its sides, except the side opposite to said latch, and the pivoting element is mounted rotatably with respect to the protruding part of the lid.
